1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 ½ teaspoons chipotle chile pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon oregano leaves
1 teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons brown sugar
- Cut chicken into 1-inch wide strips. Combine seasonings and brown sugar; mix well. Evenly rub each chicken strip with seasoning mixture until completely coated.
- Thread the chicken in zigzag fashion onto skewers. Spray each strip thoroughly with nonstick cooking spray.
- Grill over medium heat or broil 8 – 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve with Sweet and Tangy Mustard Sauce.
Chipotle chile pepper adds its smoky flavor and heat to these grilled chicken skewers. Served either as an appetizer or as a main dish, the chicken is great with Sweet and Tangy Mustard Sauce.
